DISCUS Software is proud to announce their latest software update, DISCUS 2024 SP2.
- DISCUS 2024 SP2 is an update to the software that helps make great strides in the speed and accuracy of DISCUS. In DISCUS 2024 SP2, we’re continuing our development of Package FAIR technology.
DISCUS 2024 SP2 is the result of internal and external feedback from more than 2000 customers. We strive to enhance the DISCUS experience across all of our DISCUS modules.
DISCUS 2024 SP2 has improvements that include:
- Implemented new Package FAIR export for Planner Users
- Implemented feature to define the Measured By value and how it interacts with the FAI Inspector field when recording results
- Added Flag Note table default sorting options: Alphanumerical and Numerical
- Added option to force Ballooned Drawing exports to adhere to the current rotation in the drawing panel
- Added ability to set a Default Tolerance Template for new drawings
- AS9102 Rev. C Part Accountability tab fields are now more consistent with the intent of the standard
- Changed Parts List “Report Num” to be “FAIR Identifier” for AS9102 Rev. C TDPs
- Added Specifies column to the Material/Processes table
- Functional Test attachments now properly default to Test for Net-Inspect exports
- GD&T Keyboard in the IDA® Candidate Popover no longer hides after each symbol selection
- IDA® Candidate deletion via the Candidate Popover can now be undone via CTRL+Z
- Fixed an error related to Job Numbers that could occur when exporting Process Plan to PDF
